This Global Conservation Force Mounted Anti-Poaching Unit Project is tailored to improve the skill sets of animal care and conservation professionals. Volunteers will find themselves in the daily throws of animal husbandry, conservation activities, and horse back riding, getting hands-on working with the GCF mounted anti poaching team. Experiencing true “training for a purpose” will have you invested in the conservation mission we serve at Global Conservation Force.
This course will include hands on conservation activities, horse back patrol duties, horse care and training, and has the potential for wildlife veterinary procedures and community based conservation projects.
This program is open to all looking to further their education and experience in wildlife conservation and protection.The person applying should be able bodied, ready for hands on field work, comfortable in outdoor conditions, willing to work early mornings and late evenings.
Applicants must be able to acquire and secure all necessary travel arrangements, documents, and visas on their own. GCF is not responsible for your travel arrangements.
